The CFTC maintains external accountability to the Government of Alberta. First, as a Not-for-profit Society in the Province of Alberta under the Provincial Societies Act and second, as a funded agency with a contract from AHS. 

 

The CFTC is committed to follow the Society Bylaws, maintaining a Board of Directors publicly accountable for the Centre’s operations, which includes a requirement to present financial statements, an Auditor’s report, and an account of the Society’s business at an Annual General Meeting.  This account includes a summary of information about services, training, and research.
